With the creation of new state and with the foresightedness of those who are at the helm of affairs, the Govt. of Jharkhand is giving utmost priority to education in it’s agenda. Saveral new professional colleges have been established to address the need of academics in the State. Karim’s Trust also desired to start B.Ed. Course, as it was the cherished desire and feeling of its founder that Nation’s freedom and prosperity rest upon the future citizen of the country. Future citizens are raw materials in the hand of our teachers, and if the teachers are of brilliant caliber and high moral with sound professional training then only nation’s freedom and integrity is secure”. After he approval and NOC from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of Jharkhand, the NCTE, Bhubaneshar granted reconition to start B.Ed. (Secondary) Course from session : 2005-2006 vide order No. ERC/7-58.6.14/2005/23500 (1) dated 19th July 2005.
The B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) Course is a full time two years co-educational academic programme as per newly formed NCTE Norms. The purpose of the course shall be.
- All round development of the teacher’s personality i.e. body mind and spirit so that they may prove themselves as the future thinkers, leaders and builder of modern India.
- Development of competence and skills needed for becoming an effective teacher.
- Creating deep sense of moral values and Positive attitude among teachers towards teaching profession.
- Introducing Changes and innovative ideas to understand and meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of the children.
- Creating original and superior instructional materials.
- Empowering teacher to cultivate rational thinking and scientific temperament among students.
- Sensitizing teachersf about emerging issues such as environment, ecology, population, gender equality, literacy and peaceful co-existence.
